Celebrating Resilience — Guest Blog: Lodges at Cresthaven Committed to Strict Guidelines
Posted: 1/15/2021 - 3-Minute Read

- Our staff has been provided personal protection equipment and follow strict sanitation and personal hygiene guidelines to help mitigate any threat to themselves, our owners, and guests. Employees are wearing face masks and gloves which are changed before, during and after the cleaning of each lodge as well as disinfecting all door handles, light switches and general items that are high touch risk in the rooms a second time on the way out.
- We use cleaning products and protocols which meet EPA guidelines and are effective against viruses, bacteria and other airborne pathogens. Our employees use a fogging machine with disinfectant after each check out and after cleaning has been completed to keep our lodges free of all germs and viruses.
- We are working with our vendors, distribution partners and suppliers to ensure an uninterrupted supply of these cleaning supplies and the necessary PPE. The housekeeping department makes regular rounds and cleans all public areas of the resort every hour or if otherwise needed based on demand. UV lights have been installed in the HVAC system to purify the air intake in each lodge.
- To keep our guests & staff safe, we do not have daily housekeeping or cleaning service during your stay. Housekeeping will only enter vacant rooms at the end of the stay AFTER the guests check out. We will provide extra supplies upon request. Guest packages and supplies delivered to the rooms will be placed outside the guest room. Housekeepers and Maintenance are instructed to not enter any occupied room unless there is an emergency.
- All common areas on the property are sanitized multiple times per day with disinfectants that are known to kill COVID-19 as well as multiple viruses and bacteria. Common areas include shared hallways, elevators, as well as any public use restrooms.
Stay warm with us this winter!
Our Oak Tree Lodges are the perfect accommodations for any family traveling to Lake George this winter. The 1,500 sq/ft lodge can sleep up to six people and includes two bedrooms, each with a king bed and their own bathroom. The lodge also comes equipped with a full kitchen and living space that joins the bedrooms.
We’re sure you’ll love the view from the balcony that overlooks Lake George and the mountains across the lake. Then come inside and warm up in the two-person jacuzzi tub and relax by the fire as you wind down for the night.
