Posted: 11/11/2020 - 3-Minute Read

UPDATE (11/19/20): We're thrilled to announce that between four sessions within two days, we provided 225 people with this mandated anti-harassment training that is required by New York State. Our Chamber members were able to partake in this training at no cost as one of their member benefits.

Especially in these difficult times, we're happy to offer a benefit to our Chamber membership that will help businesses fulfill mandated New York State requirements and save them some time and money.
We're working with Hamel Resources to offer all of our Chamber members the "Anti-Harassment / Sexual Harassment Training" that is required by New York State at NO COST to members.
We're paying for this virtual training and planning it, so our members don't have to take time to arrange it or foot the bill.
Per the NYS guidelines, all employers are required to offer Sexual Harassment training to all staff by December 31, 2020.
So far, we’ve offered two session and helped more than 80 members fulfill this requirement. Everyone who takes the training receives a certificate as well!
We are pleased to offer 2 more sessions for our members on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. so people can select the timeslot that best fits their schedules.
These hourlong sessions will be presented/facilitated by Gail Hamel of Hamel Resources.
This seminar will be offered virtually via Zoom.
If you are a member, please contact Executive Director Gina Mintzer for the Zoom meeting information. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
If you are not yet a member but would like to learn information about joining, please contact Membership Director Kim Saheim.
