Annual Bands n Beans

Fort William Henry : 48 Canada St., Lake George, NY  12845

2 p.m. - 7 p.m.

One of the region’s most anticipated parties is set again for its 29th year.

Lake George Arts Project’s annual winter fundraiser, “Bands ‘n Beans” is an event that north country locals look forward to each year, just as they have been for close to three decades.  Last year, over 600 fans of great music and amazing food attended.

More than twenty five area restaurants present guests with their best chili in a friendly competition to win in a number of categories. Taste them all and vote on your favorite.

In addition, ten local bands play continuous music on two stages to keep the party hopping. This year’s lineup includes Rich Ortiz & friends, The Switch, Stony Creek Band, Dirt Cheap, The Blonde Roots Band, PJ Duo, Mirabile & Jacobs, Rick Bolton & Jackie Dugas, Steve & Kenny, and Tim Wechgelaer & Chris Carey.

A large silent auction and raffle offer guests the opportunity to bid on, or win, fantastic items from your favorite local merchants.

Proceeds from Bands ‘n Beans benefit Lake George Arts Project, so that they can continue to offer high quality arts and music programming, usually at no or little cost to the public.
