On behalf of everyone at Tribute Promotions we hope that this email finds you safe, healthy and at home with your family. As you already know, the Coronavirus pandemic has caused a complete collapse of the entertainment industry. This has caused events throughout the country and around the world to cancel their plans for 2020. It is with great sorrow that we have to inform you that the 2020 Lake George Tribute Festival is one of its casualties.
Since 2004, we have enjoyed bringing you some of the very best tribute entertainment provided by some of the greatest ETAs in the world. 2020 would have been our 17th Lake George event, making it one of the longest running ETA events in the world in addition to being one of the largest. While we are forced to skip 2020, we are very excited to announce that everything is in place for the 2021 festival, which will be one of our biggest festivals ever.
At this point, all of the major airlines have extended their “no penalty” cancellations through May 31st. We have contacted all of our hotel partners and they have agreed to cancel or move your reservations from 2020 to 2021. In addition, we have worked with all of our vendors and sponsors to extend their commitments to 2021 as well.
Our 2021 Lake George Tribute Festival with the theme, “The Guitar that Changed the World” in honor of the 75th anniversary of the year that Gladys gave the King his first six-string, will take place June 2-6, 2021 and will star: Dwight Icenhower, Dean Z, Taylor Rodriguez, Diogo Light, Travis Powell, Robert Washington, Riley Jenkins and Jonathan Lyons. As always, Irv Cass will serve as Master of Ceremonies and the Change of Habit tribute band will back all of the performances.
If you are an existing ticket holder for the 2020 Lake George festival, we have transferred your tickets to the 2021 festival. The seats you purchased for 2020 will be your seats for 2021. Furthermore, if you purchased your tickets via our host hotel, the Wingate by Wyndham Lake George, they will move your tickets and reservations as well. We hope that by doing this we help to give you a little something to look forward to once we all get together and see each other again!
In the meantime, if you’re eager to get your Elvis fix and reunite with your Elvis Family before next June, remember that tickets are already on sale for our festivals in Las Vegas (July 16-19, 2020), Memphis (August 12-14, 2020) and Georgia (March 11-14, 2021). We are also taking bookings on our Tribute Cruise (January 10-17, 2021) and Timeless Cruise (November 11-15, 2021). Plus, hotel and pass packages for this fall’s Ocean City festival (October 22-24, 2020) will go on sale on Tuesday, April 14 and can be purchased online or by calling the hotel at 1-800-638-2100.
