Autumn Has Arrived
Posted: 9/25/2019
What a difference a week makes!
We're noticing the autumn hues of orange, yellows and reds spreading more every day.
This NYS Foliage Map has us listed as "just changing." We've gone from about 10% changed to 20-30% color in just seven days. The southern part of Warren County (i.e. Glens Falls area) has slightly less fall color than the northern part of the county. We've noticed a difference just driving up the Northway from Exit 17 area up north to the Lake George and Warrensburg exits.
If you're thinking of visiting, we urge you to make your travel plans as soon as possible to get the lodging you want for your desired weekend. We've had beautiful weather this fall with sunny days in the 70s.
We were excited to see TravelChannel.com feature Lake George as a "Trending Fall Beach Vacation Destination."
We were thrilled to help supply information and photos for the article by Erin Gifford.
