When did you join the team at the Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB?

June 2021

What does your job entail?

I am involved in all facets of meet and greets with visitors, members or anyone else who comes into the Chamber office. I assist guests who are either inquiring about a Lake George region visit or are already here and looking for more information on what to do, where to eat, etc. During the summer season, I manage the staffing and coordination of the Visitor Information Center on the corner of Beach Road and Canada Street in Lake George. I am also a member of the Student Connection Committee, which is a community support group for international students on the J1-Visa Travel and Work Program. I also assist our Marketing Director, Amanda, with social media posts, website updates, member outreach, and photography.

What is your favorite thing about working at the Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB?

One of my favorite things about working at the Chamber is that I get to help not only one business grow in the Lake George Region, but all of the businesses that are a part of our membership! I love being able to share how amazing our area is with people and informing them about what the Chamber can do for them.

What are some of your favorite things to do in the Lake George region?

I love to go out on the lake and just be outdoors! To see all the mountains from a different point of view and just truly be able to take in the beauty this area has to offer. I am a big foodie, so dining at different restaurants or ordering take out for the beach or park is very enjoyable! I also love being able to play tourist in my own backyard and explore things in the region that I never have before.

Share a fun fact about yourself!

I absolutely love gardening and plants! I have about 50 (give or take) houseplants that I have accumulated over the past couple years. Spring & Summer are my favorite because I get to plant flowers and vegetables and watch them grow for months!
