Dunham's Bay Resort
Groundskeeper/Set-up Person (Part-time/Full-time - $14-$17 per hour)
Oversees and performs grounds keeping duties such as mowing, weed trimming, in addition to other lawn and grounds needs. Additional duties will have this person tending to the set up of events, functions and weddings. Lastly will assist in minor maintenance duties working with the lead maintenance person. Performs work according to standard operating procedures and by building's operational schedule. Provides assistance to Management, guests and other employees of Dunham’s Bay Resort as necessary. Reports General Manager, Assistant GM & Lead Maintenance.
- Ability to operate a zero-turn mower, lawn tools and a knowledge of lawn care.
- Execute set-up of areas of the resort for functions such as but not exclusive to weddings, conferences, and events.
- Assist in Maintaining all areas of the resort. General painting of areas.
- The ability to use brooms, mops, vacuums and floor equipment.
- Empties garbage and wastebaskets and maintains firepit area of entire property.
- Basic knowledge of pool care and pool maintenance.
- Replaces light bulbs and batteries. Replenishes restroom supplies.
- Clear snow from entrances, parking lot and walkways appropriately.
- Follow applicable safety rules & procedures.
- Reports work accomplished to GM, AGM and Lead Maintenance
- Walks entire buildings at beginning & end of shifts following a defined checklist

Floating Classroom - Lake George Association
Job Type: Seasonal Part-time, hourly
The Floating Classroom Program begins this Spring on May 9th and will continue as the leaves change in the Fall. The anticipated hours are as follows:
- Spring (May & June): School field trips last approximately 2 hours each. Total work hours will be 2.5-3 hours on days with a single trip and up to 5.5 hours for a day with 2 trips. Approximate total Spring work hours is 73.
- Summer (July & August): Public programs occur once a week with two trips in a day. Other summer camps/groups are scheduled throughout the summer. Approximate summer work hours is 68.
- Fall (September & October): School field trips last approximately 2 hours each. Total work hours will be 2.5-3 hours on days with a single trip and up to 5.5 hours for a day with 2 trips. Approximate total Fall work hours is 73.
Pay rate of $15 per hour.
Garnet Hill Lodge
Wait Staff/Server: We are looking for a skilled server to take food orders and deliver meals and beverages to our customers at our Log House Restaurant. The right candidate uplifts the dining experience for customers, and will have the patience, personality, and perseverance to thrive in this role.
