She focuses on identification with a special interest in all of the tooth fungi (fungi with spines under their cap). Susan is also a “dyer,” having learned the use of various species of wild fungi to dye wool. She lives in the Adirondack Park and continues to study the local fungi and offer lectures, walks, and demonstrations on fungi and mushroom dyeing. LIKE MUSHROOMS?
