3:00 - 7:30 pm - Holiday Festival Opening Event December 7, Free Community Event Join us for a special evening celebrating the 2024 Slate Valley Museum Holiday Festival opening! Enjoy seasonal displays created by community members, make holiday crafts, create friendship bracelets, visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and enjoy cookies and cocoa! Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit from 3-5pm, prior to the lighting in the Village Park.  The evening will also feature the premiere of Serena Kovalosky’s finished work, Moving Mountains: The Mustard Seed Project, and community installation, Seed Journeys. These projects are part of Kovalosky's year-long artist residency at the Slate Valley Museum.
