The Lake George Steamboat Company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Charter Sales to join our Steamboat team in the area of boat charters, special events and weddings. As the Director of Charter Sales, you will be responsible for expanding our charter and special event services, planning and managing events and weddings on the boats, and working closely with other departments such as Food and Beverage, Marine Operations and Ticket/Group Sales to align our service capabilities with customer expectations. You will also identify new and innovative opportunities, refine our charter/party offerings, and optimize our sales processes.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for charter services to achieve revenue targets.
• Manage all special events and weddings sold from the Charter Office.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities, develop innovative new offerings and refine existing offerings.
• Collaborate with Steamboat Personnel to create targeted campaigns that promote charter and special event services.
• Work closely with Food and Beverage Director, Captains and Vendors to ensure seamless delivery of services and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
• Hospitality Management background and strong Event and Wedding Planning Experience.
• Significant familiarity with Food and Beverage capabilities.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to close high-value deals with clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and Steamboat Team members.
• Outgoing and personable sales abilities.
• Innovative perspectives, Creative Approach to Issues, and strong attention to detail.
$25.00 - $29.00 per hour commensurate with experience

Adirondack Extreme GUIDES will be expected to apply themselves to developing and demonstrating proficiency in all course activities that the company offers to the guest. This is a high responsibility position. You will be trained to consistently employ, demonstrate and reinforce proper equipment usage and activity participation techniques before and during guest and employee exposure to risk with attention to general safety of the operation according to the company’s best practices.
Applicants must be fit and comfortable at heights and in risk exposed situations. Prior experience leading or teaching outdoor activities is desirable but not essential.
