4 Events That Will Make You Fall in Love with Lake George This Valentine�s Day!

Lake George is the place to be this Valentine’s Day – and because it’s on a Friday, you can keep make a weekend out of it! Here are four romantic – and fun – ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your sweetheart in beautiful Lake George!

Lake George Winter Carnival

As some of you may know, Winter Carnival in Lake George is in full swing every weekend in February! Enjoy winter games, activities and if the weather is right – walk on the frozen lake! Winter Carnival is a great event for the whole family! The third weekend of Winter Carnival will start on Saturday and include a chowder cook off, ATV races, ice diving demonstrations, snow tie-dying, hot chocolate bar and it ends with fireworks over the lake! On Sunday the fun continues with pond hockey at 11 a.m., more ATV races, make your own sundaes in Shepard Park as well as karaoke and a “glacier” golf tournament!

Party at the Ices

It’s mid-ice bar season here in Lake George and this weekend both the Lake George Beach Club and Gaslight of Lake George will be hosting their own ice bar events!

The Lake George Beach Club hosts their ice bar every weekend in February! They’re having live music all weekend long! Plus, they’ll have “ice pong” tables set up as well as an ice luge and plenty of drinks and food!

Gaslight of Lake George is also hosting their ice bar event this weekend! This is the newest ice bar in town and it’s sure to be a blast! They’ll have cocktails and food for everyone to enjoy as well as their heated patio supplied with outdoor blankets and firepits to keep you warm! Gaslight is also having specialty warm cocktails all weekend!

Romance at Fort William Henry Resort

For those of you looking for a more romantic getaway, the Fort William Henry Valentine’s Day weekend events might be more your style. They are offering Historic Horse drawn Carriage Rides along the shoreline of Lake George. Listen to stories of Lake George’s past and finish your tour with some hot chocolate by the fire back at the hotel! Carriage rides are available all weekend long beginning at 5 p.m.

Friday night the Fort will be hosting a “Lakeview Valentine’s Day Dinner.” This three-course dinner includes your choice of appetizer, entrée and dessert! Enjoy your dinner with views of the stunning Lake George. This romantic dinner is only available on from 6-9 p.m. February 14th.

Valen-Wines Weekend at Adirondack Winery

And of course, no trip to Lake George is complete without a stop at Adirondack Winery, our presenting sponsor.
