1000 Acres Ranch Resort Offers Day Passes, Under New Management

The following is a guest post from 1000 Acres Ranch Resort! The Resort is reopening for the season and in addition to lodging, you can also purchase day passes!

Their Dining Hall is officially open to the public during these hours:

Breakfast: 8 - 10 .m.
Lunch: 12 - 2 p.m.
Dinner: 5 - 7 p.m.

Day Passes are officially for sale! The ranch offers all kinds of outdoor adventures - perfect for a full day of family activities.

Pool only pass: $10 for kids 12 and under, $15 for ages 12 and up

Kayak only pass: $20 per person / per day

All Access Day Pass includes:

Gym
Pool
Hot tub
Kayak
Trail access
Athletic courts (Shuffleboard, etc)
Arcade & Pool Table (coin operated)

*$35 per person/ per day*

STONY CREEK, NY — Hadley native, Kate Bartow, and her husband Abed Johnson, (pictured below) were named the new co-managers of 1000 Acres Ranch Resort, an all-inclusive destination for tourists and locals since 1942.

Kate Bartow, a Hadley native, worked as a wrangler on the ranch as a teenager before heading out west to train horses professionally. Abed Johnson brings a strong business and construction background. They are dedicated to honoring the foundation while igniting a new future for the ranch.

“We love the ranch! There’s a rich historical foundation here, but let’s be honest, there are some infrastructure issues. Our passion is to restore the infrastructure as much as we can, so that the community can continue to enjoy it for generations to come.” - Kate Bartow

Saturday, June 24th, 2023, will be the grand re-opening of 1000 Acres Ranch Resort. We will be open for breakfast from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. and Day Passes will officially go on sale. Our All Access Day Pass gives guests and families access to the entire property including: indoor pool, kayaking and river activities, as well as a brand new gym. For those seeking adventure, we offer horseback riding for $65 for a 1-hour ride. More advanced options are available for experienced riders. To cap off the day, country-rock band Joe Adee & The Lug Nuts will be jamming out from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.

The ranch bar, the Red Dog Saloon, is open 7 days a week and offers a delicious food menu, pool tables, a porch overlooking the Hudson, and live music every Saturday night through the summer.
