2020 Travel Guide

Our 2020 Four Seasons Travel Guide is a great resource, including information on more than 100 accommodations, 75 attractions and 100 events. You'll find listings for dining, shopping, and other businesses! It's a great way to get started plannning your vacation. It's also a resource for local people looking to discover something new in the area or find lodging for visiting friends and family. This Travel Guide feautres Chamber members exclusively.

We print 70,000 copies annually. They are distributed in strategic locations across the Northeastern United States and Canada. We also distribute thousands of them at Travel Shows, Visitor Centers, and through direct mail.

What's Inside

The Travel includes a Lodging Grid on Pages 8-13, featuring more than 100 of the Lake George Regional Chamber member accommodations from camping to resorts and everything in between.

You can use this grid to find out which properties have specific amenities. The areas in which they are listed in the grid correspond to a color-coded map on Page 7, so it's easy for you to see where they are located.

The cover feature photo this year is an aerial photo taken in northern Lake George by our member, F. Cavone Productions.

Pages 21 through 41 include information about all of our Chamber members. Check out Page 34 for some helpful tasting room terminology you might need to know when visiting members of the Adirondack Craft Beverage Trail.

Pages 43-45 offer an overview of the year’s upcoming events, but please be sure to visit the Chamber’s Events Page for more information as times/dates/ locations are subject to change.

On Page 46 you’ll find some facts about Lake George, and on page 47 there is a Word Search and a Word Scramble.

Those are just a few of the highlights in this year’s Travel Guide.

Environmentally Friendly

Our Travel Guide was printed without any special coatings in an effort to be more environmentally friendly. While special coatings such as soft touch and UV may offer a unique look and feel, these coatings often use more energy for production.

Freeport Press printed our guide using soy-based inks with an average of 65% bio-based renewable resource content. Because their new presses run Gray Component Replacement on all work produced, they consume 15% less ink on every job.
