From the Village of Lake George's weekly Thursday night fireworks to holiday celebrations throughout the southern Adirondacks, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy spectacular displays all season long.

Lake George's Beloved Thursday Night Fireworks

One of the most popular summer traditions in the region is the Village of Lake George's weekly Thursday Night Fireworks Series.

Held throughout the summer, these displays light up the sky above Lake George and can be viewed from many locations throughout the village. The fireworks reflect beautifully across the lake, creating a memorable experience for visitors and locals alike.

• Every Thursday evening starting July 4th (July–August)
• Approx. 9:30 PM
• Lake George Village Waterfront
• Rain dates are typically Fridays
• Shepard Park
• Lake George Beach
• Beach Road

• Canada Street waterfront areas

Glens Falls Symphony Summer Pops & Fireworks

July 3, 2026
The Glens Falls Symphony Orchestra's annual Summer Pops Concert returns to Crandall Park, followed by a fireworks display celebrating America's 250th anniversary.

Hague Independence Day Celebration

Celebrate Independence Day in Hague with an evening of community festivities culminating in fireworks over Lake George.

One of the region's most anticipated summer events, the Village of Lake George's Independence Day fireworks display draws visitors from throughout the Northeast.

Fort William Henry 2nd & 4th of July Celebration

July 2 & July 4, 2026
Celebrate Independence Day from the historic grounds of the Fort William Henry Museum with food, fun, firepits, games, live entertainment, living history, musket and cannon demonstrations, Haunted History Ghost Tours, and a front-row view of the Lake George fireworks.
