Petal it Forward is a random-acts-of-kindness effort organized by the Society of American Florists (SAF), and is designed to help people start their day with more smiles and less stress. With everyone living with the reality of the pandemic, this feel-good effort is needed now more than ever. According to a recent poll, 53% of American adults believe that the pandemic has taken a toll on their mental health. Research findings show the positive emotional benefits of flowers. Eighty-eight percent of Americans report that giving flowers makes them feel happy, while eighty percent reported receiving flowers makes them feel happy.
