Celebrating Private Charter Business ADK Excursions with a Ribbon Cutting

ADK Excursions is offering a new way to discover Lake George and get out on the water!

This new attraction launched last fall for autumnal private charter trips out on the lake. They are now embarking on their first full season (May through October) in operation, so we celebrated with a ribbon cutting on June 17, 2022!

Now that their boat has officially been christened (with bubbly and all) The DISCOVERY, they are formally ready to set sail on this new business venture.

The DISCOVERY accommodates groups of 12 to 25 comfortably, with interior and exterior lounges and decks, allowing ample room to mingle with friends & family under the expert guidance of our dedicated Captain and Crew.

They offer both “Sunshine” (10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and “Sunset” (4 to 8 p.m.) Charters as well as Custom Charters for people who want to build their own schedule on the lake. These are subject to availability.

“It started with a dream to share the lake we love and a need for a charter large enough to share with family & friends.  After seeing this classic, 40ft vessel on Lake George we knew that she was the one to fill the need and that we were the team to make it a reality,” according to their website, adkexcursions.com. 

ADK Excursions refers groups less than 12 to Brodie’s Lakeside, which offers chartered tours as well. Brodie’s is one of ADK Excursion’s pickup locations. They also offer pickup at The Sagamore Resort for Sagamore guests.

As there is no food and beverage available on board, guests are welcome to bring their own. Coolers are available for use on board. Ice is available for a fee and can be pre-arranged at Brodie’s Lakeside and at The Sagamore.
