Winter in the Lake George Region brings a full calendar of ice bars, festivals, and seasonal experiences that keep the community active while supporting local businesses throughout January, February, and early March. From disco-themed celebrations to classic ice bars and regional winter weekends, here’s what’s happening—in date order.

Glacier Ice Bar & Lounge at The Sagamore Resort

Dates:

• Friday, January 23 & Saturday, January 24, 2026
• Friday, January 30 & Saturday, January 31, 2026
• Friday, February 6 & Saturday, February 7, 2026 (extended weekend!)

Location: Shelving Rock Terrace, The Sagamore Resort

Set against sweeping winter views of Lake George, the Glacier Ice Bar & Lounge features sculpted ice bars, ice luges, signature ice sculptures, and lounge-style seating with faux fur blankets. Guests can enjoy handcrafted cocktails ranging from warm coffee drinks to festive winter creations, with heated igloos and indoor spaces available for warming up.
Overnight guests typically receive automatic entry.

Funky Ice Fest at Adirondack Pub & Brewery

Funky Ice Fest returns with disco-themed winter fun, featuring creative ice sculptures, a sculpted ice bar, Adirondack Brewery beer, handcrafted cocktails and mocktails, food specials, and a lively, family-friendly atmosphere in the heart of the village.

Fire and Ice Bar at Charlie's (Courtyard by Marriott)

Location: Barleycorn's Bar (inside Charlie's Bar & Kitchen) Courtyard by Marriott Lake George

Charlie’s Bar & Kitchen (Barkeycorn’s Bar inside Charlie’s) is introducing its first-ever Snowflake Ice Bar. The event will feature snowflake-themed ice carvings, specialty winter cocktails, and a cozy outdoor fire-pit table for guests to warm up. Attendees can enjoy s’mores by the fire and savor Charlie’s signature specialty bread bowls—hand-baked and filled with classic comfort foods. This new winter experience invites the community to come out, enjoy the atmosphere, and be part of a brand-new seasonal tradition.

The Polar Ice Bar returns with intricate ice sculptures, specialty cocktails, live music, and outdoor fire pits at the Lakeside Restaurant & Lounge and surrounding spaces. Free and open to the public, this longtime winter favorite blends indoor and outdoor experiences for a festive seasonal atmosphere.
