Chill Out at Lake George Region's Coolest Ice Bars!

Get ready to embrace the chill and experience the frosty magic of the Lake George Region this winter! January and February 2025 are packed with dazzling ice bars, lively festivals, and unique attractions that bring the Lake George region to life. Whether you’re looking for handcrafted cocktails, stunning ice sculptures, or thrilling outdoor events, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this season.
Glacier Ice Bar & Lounge at The Sagamore Resort

Dates: January 24-25 and January 31-February 1, 2025

Location: The Sagamore Resort, Lake George, NY
Set on Shelving Rock Terrace, the icy display overlooks Lake George and the 1883 historic resort’s sprawling grounds. In addition to ice luges anchoring each end of the glacier ice bar, our signature polar bears ice sculptures perfect for photo opps, and lounge-like seating draped in faux fur blankets, there’s also a series of heated private igloos and a chili chowder lounge for warming up in between time spent at the bar. The handcrafted cocktails run the range from warm, boozy coffee beverages to festive cranberry, vodka, and champagne creations. *Overnight hotel guests enjoy automatic entry to the ice bar. Open 4–10 p.m. on Fridays and 1–10 p.m. on Saturdays.
Funky Ice Fest at Adirondack Pub & Brewery

This groovy ice festival features extensive ice sculptures, including a frozen beer pong table and a playable piano. Attendees can enjoy handcrafted drinks made from local spirits and Adirondack Brewery beers, along with food specials. The event is family-friendly and free to enter.
Polar Ice Bar at Fort William Henry Hotel & Conference Center

The Polar Ice Bar at Fort William Henry is back, and this year, it’s taking over the Lakeside Restaurant & Lounge for an unforgettable experience inside and outside! Picture this: stunning ice sculptures, crackling firepits to keep you warm, and live music that’ll have you dancing through the chill. And don’t forget the specialty cocktails and delicious bites that’ll keep you coming back for more! Are you cool enough to join us? Come chill with us at Lake George’s hottest (or should we say coolest) event of the season! Event Hours: Friday, January 24th: 4 PM – 10 PM Saturday, January 25th: 1 PM – 10 PM featuring the Radio Junkies Sunday, January 26th: 12 PM – 4 PM Bundle up, grab your friends, and let’s make some frosty memories! This event is free and open to the public to see and hang out! We will have a delightful list of specialty drinks & great snacks! No reservations are required.

From family-friendly activities to delicious cook-offs, thrilling contests, and more, the Winter Carnival offers fun for everyone. Gather your toughest crew and sign up for the legendary Outhouse Races, officially sponsored and hosted by The Lagoon. Prefer to kick back and relax? Join the Frozen Cornhole Competition while sipping on a craft beer or cocktail.Don’t forget—The Lagoon is also a prime spot to catch the spectacular Winter Carnival fireworks every Saturday night. Mark your calendars for frosty fun all month long!
