Pre-Earth Day Celebration
Common Roots Brewing Co.

Begins at 4 p.m.

Join Common Roots on Friday, April 21, for a pre-Earth Day celebration! Featured events include the release of Mom’s Calling IPA, benefit raffle, up-cycled bike silent auction and live birds of prey demos with North Country Wild Care. The festivities kick off at 4 p.m. in the Biergarten.

Lake George Land Conservancy Earth Trail Cleanup
The Pinnacle Preserve, Bolton Landing

9 a.m. to noon

Come join the LGLC for a volunteer work day at The Pinnacle Preserve in honor of Earth Day! We’ll be doing some basic trail cleanup and stewardship, including trimming overgrowth and downed branches to clear trails, pick up litter, and replace trail markers. Depending on the group we may split up between the trails to the Pinnacle overlook and/or Bradley’s Lookout. Both are moderate hikes, with varied grade and trail surface. Tasks can be tailored and are suitable for most ages.

Feeder Canal Clean Sweep
Murray Park at 273 Main Street, Hudson Falls, NY

Begins at 8:30 a.m.

The Feeder Canal Alliance (FCA) will host a clean-up along the historic Glens Falls Feeder Canal and Towpath Trail on Earth Day, Saturday, April 22, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Participants can register online at www.ptny.org.
Volunteers should meet up Murray Park at 273 Main Street, Hudson Falls, NY., behind Jack & Jill Ice Cream. The clean-up will occur along the trail in both Warren and Washington Counties and volunteers are encouraged to bring work gloves and a rake.
