Fireside Fare: Savor the Flavors of Fall in the Lake George Region

There’s something special about gathering around the table as the seasons change. Crisp autumn air, warm flavors, and a good meal shared with family and friends are all part of the experience of fall in the Lake George Region.

This September, that experience comes to the table during the 20th Anniversary of the Lake George Fall Restaurant Week, September 13–19, 2026.

Presented by the Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB, this year’s Restaurant Week theme, “Fireside Fare,” celebrates the warmth and comfort of the season with specially crafted three-course menus for $35 at participating restaurants throughout the region.

A Taste of Fall

“Fireside Fare” gives local chefs and mixologists an opportunity to put their own spin on the flavors and feeling of fall.

Participating menus will feature at least one dish or drink inspired by smoked, grilled, roasted, toasted, or charred flavors, along with hearty comfort foods, skillet-style creations, warm desserts, and fireside-inspired cocktails and mocktails.

The theme is intentionally flexible. It’s less about cooking over an actual fire and more about capturing the flavors and feeling of the season—rich, comforting, and meant to be enjoyed around the table.

“Restaurant Week is the perfect way to welcome fall in the Lake George Region,” said Gina Mintzer, Executive Director of the Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB. “The ‘Fireside Fare’ theme gives our chefs and mixologists room to be creative while capturing everything diners love about the season—warmth, comfort, bold flavors, and the feeling of gathering together.”
