First Adirondack Jeep Invasion Rolling Into Lake George Area

STONY CREEK, NY — The Lake George Area is extending a welcoming Jeep wave to hundreds of Jeep enthusiasts scheduled to roll into Warren County in June during the first Adirondack (ADK) Jeep Invasion event. This new three-day event is planned for June 18-20th, 2021. It will be headquartered at The 1000 Acres Ranch at 456 Warrensburg Road in Stony Creek and includes a Show and Shine in Lake George.

“We had received several requests from our New Jersey Jeep Invasion participants to bring something to New York like our Wildwood show.  We spent almost two years looking at venues and towns around New York City, Long Island, and New York State.  We chose the Lake George Area because of the amenities offered.  We like the family feel of the town. The shops, restaurants and attractions are much like Wildwood, but in the mountains.  We don't do shows in parking lots, the venue is a top priority for us!” said Event Host Jamie Longmuir.

The 1000 Acres Ranch was chosen as the main event venue as it also offers many activities for families including swimming, horseback riding, tubing, kayaking, fishing and much more.

“We were thrilled when Jamie contacted our LGRCVB staff  in June of last year. Our destination offers the lodging, attractions, venues, and trails making it a perfect fit for an event like this that incorporates adventure and is family friendly,” said Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB Executive Director Gina Mintzer, CMP, MHA.

The Adirondack Jeep Invasion is open to any Jeep branded make, model or year. There are nearly 150 Jeeps already registered with an estimated 2-3 people attending per Jeep. Online registration is open through Thursday,  June 10. Pre-registration is required at: https://www.adkjpinvasion.com. Organizers are closely monitoring New York State requirements related to COVID-19. As the guidance changes, some event rules may change, so people are encouraged to keep an eye on the website.

The Adirondack Jeep Invasion will consist of trail rides, a vendor area, obstacle course and a DOWNTOWN INVASION on Saturday, June 19, at Festival Commons in Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George Village with a Show and Shine competition from 6 to 9 p.m.

The Show and Shine competition is limited to the first 100 Jeeps to sign up. The general public is welcome to attend and see the Jeeps. Event organizers will be monitoring how many people are in the festival space at all times in alignment with any COVID-19 restrictions.
