Golden Goal Sports Park Adds Basketball Courts

FORT ANN, NY — Here's a major win for our area's sports facilities!

Golden Goal Sports Park added basketball courts to their property this summer, which means they'll now be able to host basketball camps and events.

We celebrated in August 2021 with a ribbon cutting ceremony at their facility, located at 495 Goodman Road in Fort Ann.

Golden Goal Sports Park is the Northeast’s Premier Residential Sports Venue. Golden Goal is located at the foothills of the beautiful Adirondack mountains less than twenty minutes from Lake George.

The Park offers a combination of professional-grade facilities and beautiful surroundings, which makes it a popular destination for elite academies, college teams, international clubs and everyone in-between.

“Golden Goal is an asset for our entire region. Their premier facilities make our area a top destination for a variety of sports tournament and events. While this facility is in Washington County, we often realize hotel bookings and economic benefits in surrounding counties as well since families plan sportcations around these sports events,” said LGRCC&CVB Executive Director Gina Mintzer.

Golden Goal’s amenities include:

● Lodging in beautiful full-size cabins

● Full kitchen and chef

● Field sessions on turf or grass fields

● High School Regulation Basketball Courts

● Classrooms

● 3K Team Challenge Obstacle Course

● Outdoor movie nights

● Wi-Fi throughout the facility

● On-site recreational activities... and more!
