Health & Safety Pledge Program and Partnership Provides Free Reusable Masks
Posted: 9/21/2020 - 3-Minute Read
LAKE GEORGE, NY — The Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau has partnered with the Lake George Outlets and local promotional product company nePROMO of South Glens Falls to produce complimentary reusable face masks.
These masks will be available as a thank you to people who take the new Lake George Region/ Southern Adirondacks Health & Safety Public Pledge for visitors, local residents, second home-owners, and anyone who would like to show their commitment to keeping our community a safe place to live, work and play.
This pledge to abide by recommended safety protocols including maintaining six feet of distance from others, wearing a face-covering when that is not possible, and washing hands whenever necessary to help stop the spread of COVID-19, is available in digital form.

“We are grateful to our business community, residents and visitors who are doing everything they can to keep our community safe. Following the success of the Lake George Region/ Southern Adirondacks Health & Safety Pledge for the business community, we developed a local Health & Safety Pledge for the general public,” said Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB Executive Director Gina Mintzer.
Approximately 200 businesses took the Lake George Region/ Southern Adirondacks Health & Safety Pledge, and those pledges are continuing to come in. The pledge for businesses and organizations is available digitally at lakegeorgechamber.com.
“Through this pledge, we hoped to offer a way for people to formally pledge their dedication to safety and well-being to our local community — whether they are locals or visitors. We’re grateful to the Lake George Factory Outlets for recognizing the importance of this initiative and stepping up to sponsor the mask distribution,” Mintzer said.
Everyone who takes the pledge is eligible to receive a complimentary 3-ply face mask printed locally by nePROMO with the Convention and Visitors Bureau Lake George Area logo on it.
"nePROMO is thankful we have been trusted to produce a product to help promote the safety and wellness within our region. We continue to adapt as needed to allow tourism and local businesses to thrive,” nePROMO Managing Partner Deana Endieveri.
The limited-edition facemasks will be available for pickup at the following locations:
-
Coastal Society store in French Mountain Commons in the Lake George Outlets, 1439 U.S. 9, Lake George, NY 12845
-
Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB Main Office, 2176 Route 9 in Lake George
-
