Ice Bars Return to Lake George Region

There’s no cooler lounge scene than an Ice Bar! Yes, we mean that literally. In the Lake George region — an ice bar hot spot — we have no shortage of chill places for you to enjoy a hot toddy or two.
Most ice bars in our area take place in January, but there is also one in February during Lake George Winter Carnival!
Here are some ice bars coming up in Lake George region in 2022:
The Sagamore Resort – Glacier Ice Bar
January 21 - 22 & January 28 - 29
The Sagamore's ninth annual Glacier Ice Bar & Lounge at The Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing is one of the coolest events in the Northeast. See the transformation of 18,000 pounds of crystal-clear ice into one of the “hottest and coolest lounges” in the Adirondacks.
- The Glacier Ice Bar will be available to overnight hotel guests and a limited number of outside guests who have pre purchased tickets to either night.
- Wristbands will be given upon check-in to each registered guest and attendee and will be required for Ice Bar entry throughout the weekend.
- A two-night stay will be required on both weekends with a Friday arrival. Check in begins at 11:00am on Friday and Sunday check out is at 3:00pm.
- Tickets for non-hotel guests are $25.00 per person, must be purchased in advance and are non-refundable. Please call 518.644.9400 to purchase your tickets.
- Per New York state, masks are required when indoors.
Holiday Inn Resort — Forest Ice Bar
January 21-22 & January 28-29
- Friday, January 21: 5 – 9 p.m.
- Saturday, January 29: 4 – 9 p.m.
- Friday, January 28: 5 – 9 p.m.
- Saturday, January 22: 4 – 9 p.m.
Forest Ice Bar is back at the fire pit area at Holiday Inn Resort in Lake George. They have a tasty drink menu all set. The cold temperatures have been great for crafting this year's ice sculptures! Take a look at the photos below!
Adirondack Pub & Brewery - Funky Ice Bar*
January 21-22 & January 28-29
- Friday, January 21: 5 – 10 p.m.
- Saturday, January 22: 5 – 10 p.m.
- Friday, January 28: 5 – 10 p.m.
- Saturday, January 29: 5 – 10 p.m.
At this ice bar, we get down and groove under the disco ball to those classic funky hits you know you love. Chill out and sip a hand-crafted cocktail while browsing the hand-carved sculptures.
* Proof of vaccination required to attend.
Fort William Henry Polar Ice Bar
February 4-6
- Friday, January 21: 5 – 9 p.m.
- Saturday, January 22: 4 – 9 p.m.
- Friday, January 28: 5 – 9 p.m.
- Saturday, January 29: 4 – 9 p.m.
The Ice Bar will be at the Village Blacksmith restaurant at the Fort William Henry. Enjoy ice sculptures, a photobooth, fire pits, and specialty drinks. Mask required indoors for the event, but not outdoors.

- Village Blacksmith will be open for dining and drinks Friday 4pm – 10pm, Saturday 7am – 10pm and Sunday 7am – 4pm
- Enjoy ice sculptures, a photobooth, fire pits, and specialty drinks
