Posted: 7/7/2023 - 2 min
The Lake George Arts Project is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated Summer Concert Series offering free concerts every Wednesday night in Shepard Park, Lake George, NY.
For over forty years, the Lake George Arts Project's Summer Concert Series has stood as a well-loved tradition, captivating audiences with its exceptional performances and unforgettable experiences. This esteemed concert series has become an institution in the community, delighting generations of music enthusiasts with its rich history and unwavering commitment to showcasing incredible talent.
Coming up this Wednesday, Kyshona
Kyshona is an artist ignited by untold stories, and the capacity of those stories to thread connection in every community. With the background of a licensed music therapist, the curiosity of a writer, the patience of a friend, the vision of a social entrepreneur, the resolve of an activist, and the voice of a singer, Kyshona is unrelenting in her pursuit for the healing power of song. She lends her voice and music to those that feel they have been silenced or forgotten.
"Kyshona Armstrong has been called upon to represent for soul and gospel in roots, rock and folk lineups and to bring singer-songwriter sensibilities to R&B bills. But wherever she plants her feet, she does so with righteous conviction and a strong sense of her own voice." - NPR Music
About her song Listen, Billboard says, "Listen highlights Kyshona’s descriptive songwriting and soulful vocals alongside a versatile blend of folk, rock and R&B influences. While Kyshona sings of fear, hope, community, love and understanding throughout the 10-track project, she also finds herself.”
