Warren County Businesses Taking Advantage of Groundbreaking Video Platform
LAKE GEORGE AREA, N.Y. (August 25, 2023) – LakeGeorge.TV (LGTV), the first ever connected TV platform built for a travel destination, is delivering FREE MARKETING to over 400 tourism and hospitality businesses across Warren County.
LGTV promotes tourism and hospitality businesses 24/7, 365 days a year. It is available via Roku, AppleTV, iOS/Android apps, Mobile, Web and all other digital devices – free to businesses and consumers. Consumers can choose to create a free account to conveniently save their favorite videos to help plan their trips.
“We are excited to see hundreds of Warren County businesses taking advantage of the free advertising LakeGeorge.TV offers. This video platform is easy to use and can help draw more visitors to Warren County by providing an official centralized place to go for videos about the Lake George Area," Eugene Merlino, Chair of the Warren County Board of Supervisors Tourism Committee said.
Hood Communications, an Affiliate company of LOOK Media Resource, officially announced the launch of LGTV in the spring. The support of the Warren County Board of Supervisors makes it possible for businesses and consumers to participate for free.
“I’ve had people coming in saying they were looking for a place to golf and saw our video. It works. I love it,” said Jim Cronin, Owner of Cronin’s Golf Resort in Warrensburg.
Wini Martin, Owner of Martin’s Lumber in Thurman, uploaded videos for events in Thurman such as the Woods Walk and Artisan Market in the spring and the Thurman Fall Farm Tour.
“I love LakeGeorge.TV, the whole concept of it. I love being able to advertise our events for free and the ease of using it. I am involved in a few events in Thurman and always looking for free or low-cost advertising. Getting the best for less is what you are offering. It is easy to navigate, uploading a video for our events could not have been easier. I appreciate that you offer this to everyone equally, larger businesses as well as us smaller ones. Even though we live in the area, using LakeGeorge.TV is great for finding events and places for us to enjoy also,” Martin said.
