Thanksgiving Dinners

If there were ever a year to remind us not to take things for granted, it’s 2020.

With our busy lives, it’s easy to lose sight of what’s truly important and overlook the benefits of gratitude.

During the most challenging times, shifting focus to what we have to be grateful for can make a major difference in our outlook.

The phrase of the year, “We’re all in this together,” has different meanings to different people.

While we haven’t all experienced 2020 the same — and some have suffered devastating losses — we are in this together in that we are here to support and lift each other up.

We may not be physically together, but we don’t want anyone to feel like they have to go through this time alone.

Going into Thanksgiving, we’re feeling especially grateful for a business community that rose to the occasion — implementing vigorous safety standards and working around the clock to ensure our destination was a safe respite for people to visit.

We’re also thankful to have such a talented hospitality industry in our area — especially when it comes to culinary delights!

Take a break from cooking this year and spend more time with family.

It’s been a tough year, treat yourself and your loved ones!

Food and Toy Drive

‘Tis the season to give!

Even though the Chamber is not having an Open House or Holiday Mixer this year, we’re still collecting food and toy donations!

Bring your non-perishable food donations for the Lake George Food Pantry and/or a toy donation for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Holiday Party to our office.

We’re accepting donations now through Wednesday, December 16.

Our office, located at 2176 Route 9 in Lake George, is open Monday — Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

You, our generous members, provide one of the largest donations of toys for Big Brothers Big Sisters annually at the Holiday Mixer.

Since there are no events like this, it’s more important than ever to donate this year!
