Thanksgiving Getaway

Thanksgiving is coming up and we’re reflecting on the amazing lodging and culinary talent in our area.

Why not give the pots and pans (and yourself) a break this year and getaway to the Lake George region to dine at one of these hotels with your family on Thanksgiving.

Fort William Henry

The Fort William Henry Hotel will be hosting a buffet this Thanksgiving. Choose from a salad station, choices of soup and a buffet, as well as tasty desserts including pumpkin or apple pie with sharp cheddar, and assorted cakes, tarts, and pastries. Prices include $30 for adults, $16 for children 5 to 12 and kids 4 or under get in for free. Seating time include 12:30, 1:00, 2:30, and 3:00. Make your reservation at 518-964-6628.

Surfside on The Lake

Surfside on The Lake Hotel and Suites is located on Canada Street, Lake George and will be open on Thanksgiving from 1 till 7. Choose from a large menu as well as order your own turkey for your table, giving you the proper Thanksgiving dinner, without the clean up. Adults get in for $28.95, seniors for $24.95 and $13.95 for children 4 to 12.

Dunham’s Bay Resort

From 12 pm till 5 pm, Dunham’s Bay Resort will also be hosting a Thanksgiving Buffet. Choose from three salads, choice of Whole Roast Carolina Turkey or Mustard Roasted Ham Flank, an entree and a dessert. Reservations are required, make yours at 518-656-9242. $28.95/Adults. Kids/ $13.95

The Georgian Resort

Join The Georgian Resort Thanksgiving Day from 11 to 4 pm for a wonderful Thanksgiving buffet. They truly have a lot to offer from starters, soups, salads, turkey or ham carving stations, entrees and buffet selections, sides and desserts. Call 917-682-3144 to make your reservation.

 TR's Restaurant at the Holiday Inn Resort

TR's Restaurant at the Holiday Inn Resort in Lake George will host their annual Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday. The buffet includes soup, a salad bar, Autumn Charcuterie Board, a plentiful carving station and a dessert station.

The carving station includes everything from Prime Rib to Turkey and Pork Loin. There are options for vegetarians as well.

Thanksgiving Dinner seating is available from 1 to 6 p.m. in the Grand Ballrom of the Inn a Erlowest. You’ll enjoy Thanksgiving inspired cuisine including local Whitefield’s Farm Roasted Turkey. $60 Adults | $30 Children
