Where to find medical care and supplies on vacation

If you’re on vacation and find yourself in need of medical care, there are several convenient options for you in the Lake George region — no appointment necessary!

Local urgent care clinics are staffed with friendly medical professionals who can help get you back out there enjoying your getaway.

While this is never part of your trip itinerary, this list is helpful to have just in case you should need medical attention.

Urgent Care Services are intended for treatment of minor medical illnesses and injuries. Walk-ins are welcome. Most health insurance accepted at these locations. Urgent care providers and exam rooms are available seven days a week with evening hours. Laboratory and imaging (X-ray) and other medical services are available on-site at these locations

Please note Urgent Care is not intended for life-threatening situations. If you have any question as to the severity of an injury or illness, please call 911 immediately.

In addition, if you are planning your trip and may need medical supplies or some equipment to help you with mobility, contact PA Medical Supply for more information. They offer sales and rentals. This is a great option if you, or someone you are traveling with, could use a scooter or other equipment to help them enjoy the sights around the area without being in pain from mobility issues.
