It’s Winterfest all season long in the Lake George area!

Passes are now on sale so you can start planning your perfect, socially-distant winter escape. (Hint: Perfect holiday gift idea for the adventurer on your list!)

The $30 Winterfest Pass gets you access to several activities (worth over $150!), including horse and carriage rides for your whole family, hot chocolate stops and restaurant discounts.

Each purchased pass includes ONE Winter Activity. Select your favorite at the time of your purchase.

Dog sledding
Snow Tubing
Alpine Skiing
Ax Throwing
Snowmobiling

Winterfest began in 2021 and is back this year, offering a new way to showcase all the fun winter brings.

In addition to Winterfest in 2022, Lake George Winter Carnival is back on weekends in February, and the new seasonal attraction Ice Castles will plan to open in January.

You can also enjoy fireworks on select Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. during Lake George Winterfest including:

January 8
January 15
January 22
January 29

This 8-minute show will take place more overhead than traditional Lake George displays, so the best view is just about wherever you happen to be in Lake George Village. They’ll explode over the Fort William Henry Museum, so stand on just about any sidewalk and look up! (It’s “only” 8 min long to keep crowds from congregating and to remain Covid-safe.)
