Lake George Region/ Southern Adirondacks Entertainment Pledge
While New York was on pause, some things never stopped. Our ability to adapt, evolve and create never quit. When the world seemed still, we continued to plan and collaborate virtually. Though we were apart, the connectivity of our community and economy was never clearer. We all have a part to play in reopening safely, just as we all took action to stop the spread of COVID-19. To help our business community get back to earning a living and providing jobs in the tourism industry, several groups joined together to provide extensive minimum best practices and a procurement list for supplies.
We hope this will help everyone rise together as we navigate the phased reopening of the New York Forward plan. During this time we’ve become empowered. We met this challenge together, and we will face the future together. The health and safety of our guests, employees and community has always been our top priority. That’s why the Warren County Lodging Association, local Chambers of Commerce and the Lake George Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau in conjunction with the Warren County Tourism Department and government officials established a commission to develop specific guidelines and best practices for safely reopening four sectors of tourism in Warren County — Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Retail and Entertainment.
These minimum best practices draw from guidance from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, New York State Health Department and the best practices of major corporations within each sector of tourism.

To help promote these best practices, our group of public and private stakeholders has created the Lake George Region/ Southern Adirondacks Health & Safety Pledge badge. To earn this badge to display on their websites, businesses must sign the form below pledging to follow the best practices.
