Join Takeyce for a 4-hour workshop, where we will review tools at our disposal to create beautiful mixed media autumn landscape paintings with gouache and pastels. Lessons will focus on being selective in choosing compositions, the fundamentals of design, color theory and harmony, and aerial or atmospheric perspective and its effects on elements within the autumn landscape. This class is designed for all ages. All materials will be provided.

Takeyce Walter is an award-winning contemporary American painter (Jamaican-born), art instructor, and media producer living and working in upstate Takeyce Walter is an award-winning contemporary American painter (born in Jamaica), art instructor, and media producer living and working in upstate New York. Working with oil paint, gouache, and pastels, she creates paintings that present the landscape in all its glory – flowing rivers, majestic skies, and picturesque lakes.
