LGLC Amy's Adventure Race at Amy's Park

Join us for the 7th Annual Amy’s Adventure Race for the Lake! This 4.5-mile trail race will take you through Amy’s Park, which offers challenging and rugged terrain amidst ponds, marshes, and forests. Amy’s Park is one of LGLC’s most popular preserves for both humans and non-humans alike, home to beavers, otters, turtles, and more! A virtual option is also available, so you can run the race at Amy’s Park or from wherever you want on September 30th, as long as it’s 4.5 miles!

Over its 4-year tenure, the event has grossed over $15,000 in funds to support the LGLC. Stay tuned on social media for updates on registration, sponsors, swag, and more!

2023 Race Details: The race will take place on September 30th. Race sign-in will be 7:30-8:30 AM. The race will begin at 9 AM. There will be an after-party open to all race participants and members of the community at the Bolton Landing Brewing Company, where there will be a raffle, beer, and more! All proceeds from the race and the raffle will go to the LGLC’s Indian Brook & Northwest Bay Conservation Initiative, an ongoing effort by the LGLC to conserve lands in a highly sensitive region of the Lake George Watershed.

Race registration is $30 until September 1, with the option to purchase an Amy’s Race T-shirt for an additional $10. Registration will then stay open until September 29 at an increased registration fee of $40 (not including the T-shirt). Registration includes one raffle ticket for the after-party raffle. Participants, family, and friends also can buy Amy’s Race t-shirts and sweatshirts at the after-party and at our Amy’s Race storefront website.

This year, participants have the option to create individual and team fundraisers, with the highest individual and team fundraiser each receiving a prize! Sign up on your own or with a group and compete with others to try to raise the most money for the LGLC.

Course Details

The race is 4.5 miles of trail covering 700 feet of elevation, all within Amy’s Park. The race loop surrounds a beautiful pond and marshland, and is rated Moderate. It covers a mix of terrain with some narrow sections, steep sections, and bridge crossings. Runners should take caution throughout as the trail has rocks, leaves, roots, and more.
