This class will be hosted by Adirondack Salt Cave LLC, 11 Broad Street Glens Falls NY.
This practice will blend the benefits of yoga with halotherapy and is suitable for all levels. All Props will be provided.
Led by Robin Weber, this class will be a series of seated and standing yoga poses designed to increase flexibility, balance, concentration and range of movement for all students and abilities. It works all body parts and includes deep breathing and relaxation techniques. Practiced at room temperature. It is a safe, gentle and extremely effective practice.
Gentle Halo Yoga is an easy approach to a yoga practice that is slow and steady and incorporates yoga props to support the body to help elongate the spine, open the hips, and customize the poses to suit each students individual needs all in the setting of the salt cave. The class is fitting for students who are new to yoga, students who have physical limitations or are recovering from injury, students who are pregnant, or postnatal and students who want to have a less rigorous and more relaxing practice.

Halotherapy is an exposure to dry salt where the micro sized particles are being inhaled while the large salt particles are spread on the top of the skin. Since dry salt is antibacterial and super absorbent it actively kills bacteria and reduces the inflammation in the respiratory system and widens the airways for better breathing. Halotherapy keeps the lungs and the skin clean, boosts oxygen circulation, energizes the whole body and enhances mental alertness. Clean and clear airways allow more efficient oxygen distribution and increases the elimination of the CO2 from the body. The result is having more vitality and energy while being relaxed and having an increased ability to focus on daily tasks.
