Travel back in time and discover the amazingly storied past of a mountain that has hosted everyone from U.S. presidents and tuberculosis patients to veterans and prisoners. Learn about what has drawn visitors to this Adirondack summit for hundreds of years, while experiencing its historic and natural features. During the tour, you will hear stories that bring to life the people of the mountains’ past as you explore hidden elements of the mountains' history. Note: Tour is of the grounds only, not the interior of the Grant Cottage. Tour is over uneven and steep terrain and not suitable for those with limited mobility.
