On Wednesday, February 28, at 6:30 The Rochmon Record Club will converge to listen and learn about Billy Joel’s 5th album 1977’s “The Stranger” at The Park Theater, 14 Park Street, Glens Falls. Tickets available at parktheatergf.com

“The Stranger” moved Billy Joel toward harder themes and a tougher edge than his previous albums. “The Stranger”, the first of Joel’s albums produced by Phil Ramone, is a concept album working around the theme that while we’re surrounded by characters we know, “The Stranger” is what looks back at us in the mirror. Filled with great songs like “Movin’ Out (Anthony’s Song)”, “Just the Way You Are”, “Only the Good Die Young” and the title song, “The Stranger” is a great album by an artist at the top of his talent. As is his way, Rochmon will have a few surprises in store!
