90th Snow Train Anniversary at Gore Mountain

OVERVIEW On March 4th, 1934, the first Snow Train arrived in North Creek at 10:30 am with 374 skiers, kickstarting generations of winter fun at Gore Mountain. We’re celebrating the Snow Train’s 90th anniversary with North Creek and the Town of Johnsburg this year. Join us the weekend of March 2- 3rd and learn about the history of the Ski Bowl and The Snow Train and preview old footage of the 1930s Snow Train and Ski Bowl experience.

March 2nd:
– 8:30am – 4:00pm: Inside the Base Lodge, we’ll be showing the Old Ski Bowl Movie with a Gallery of Old Photos
– Ski Bowl Snow Shoe presented by the North Creek Depot Museum. Meet at Minder Lodge. More information will be posted soon.

March 3rd:
