The Lake George Arts Project (LGAP) is thrilled to announce the lineup for its 2026 Summer Concert Series. Featuring local favorites and nationally touring acts, the series will bring a vibrant, genre-spanning mix of free, live music to the shores of Lake George every Wednesday evening throughout July and August. All concerts take place at the Shepard Park Amphitheater, with shows kicking off at 7:00 PM and running until 8:30 PM.

This season marks an exciting new era for the series as it officially welcomes audiences to the newly reconstructed, state-of-the-art Shepard Park Amphitheater. Following the 2024 fire that claimed the park's legacy bandstand, the multi-million dollar revitalization project is now complete just in time for the 2026 summer season. The impressive new facility elevates the concert experience with upgraded pro-grade acoustics, modern performance lighting, and improved public accessibility.

Remaining dedicated to its mission of championing original music and local artistry, LGAP’s 2026 curation dedicates half of the season to local favorites from the "518" and the other half to acclaimed, nationally touring acts.

The 2026 Summer Concert Series Schedule Includes:

  • July 1: Eastbound Jesus – A high-energy, roots-driven Americana powerhouse blending bluegrass, country soul, and rock & roll grit.

  • July 8: Sara Milonovich & Daisycutter – Captivating, story-driven indie-roots and alt-country led by award-winning fiddler and singer-songwriter Sara Milonovich.

  • July 15: Gráinne Duffy – An internationally acclaimed Irish guitarist and singer-songwriter blending Celtic roots with powerhouse blues, soul, and pop vocals fresh off major global festival stages.

  • July 22: Oobleck – Albany’s premier analog funk band, bringing 16 years of horn-heavy, dance-floor-ready groove to the lakefront.

  • July 29: Ghost Town Blues Band – A grit-and-glamor blues-rock group directly from Beale Street, known for explosive live sets that fuse New Orleans brass, Southern soul, and hip-hop jams.

  • August 5: The Bluebillies – A unique blend of country, bluegrass and folk music with traditional style, sound and spirit

  • August 12: Alex Torres & His Latin Orchestra – A spectacular 12-piece orchestra delivering an infectious, critically acclaimed blend of original Afro-Caribbean rhythms including Salsa, Merengue, and Cha-cha.

  • August 19: High Horse – A Boston-based progressive string band that breathes the raw, driving energy of alternative rock into traditional folk music.

  • August 22: Lollise and the Gentleman Brawlers – This is a special Saturday show featuring bold Afro-futurist pop and afrofunk dance music.

  • August 26: The ILL Funk Ensemble – A mash-up of hip-hop, neo-soul, R&B and rock that creates a dance-party like no other

"This year’s Summer Concert Series feels especially meaningful as we celebrate the incredible improvements made to Shepard Park and the new stage. For more than four decades, this series has brought people together through music in one of the most beautiful settings imaginable, and these enhancements only strengthen that experience for artists, audiences, and the entire community.” Admission to all concerts is entirely free and open to the public. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets.

The 2026 Summer Concert Series is made possible through the generous support of the Town of Lake George, the Village of Lake George, the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), and the Arts Project's dedicated members, business sponsors, and donors.
