The Adirondack Pastel Society was established in 2008 and is open to any artist working in the medium of soft pastel and to any person or organization wishing to promote participation in the medium. APS provides exhibiting opportunities for pastel artists and works to educate and encourage students and professionals in the medium, through workshops, demonstrations and interaction amongst it’s continuous 60 members. APS is a member of the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS).
