Theres something about Jazz at the Lake that feels different every year
and somehow so familiar at the same time. Maybe its watching the park fill up in the mornings, running into old friends between sets, discovering a new favorite artist, or simply hearing world-class music with Lake George as the backdrop. Whatever it is, I look forward to it and I hope you do too.

Daniel always pulls together an amazing lineup and this year is no different. From the energy of Kneebody and Shayna Steele to the legendary Paul Winter Consort and Miguel Zenón Quartet, this year brings together Grammy-winning artists, internationally acclaimed performers, and some of the most exciting voices in jazz today. It moves effortlessly between styles, traditions, and generations and it's a lineup that doesnt just showcase talent; it tells a story of where jazz has been, where it is now, and where its headed next.

We're also thrilled to be presenting this year's event on the new stage in Shepard Park (I will be giving a tour at 9am on Saturday for any early-risers who would like to stop by)! I have been lucky to have toured the construction a few times and this is like no stage I've ever been on. We still have the beautiful views and everything that made the space unique, but now we will have a world-class sound system, all new lighting on the stage and in the park, and renovated seating and accessible sidewalks which will profoundly increase safety and comfort.

The stage officially opens on July 1st and we are honored to be presenting the first show. We are bringing in 518 super-favorite, Eastbound Jesus - if you are local or regional I hope you can join us!
