Help stock local food pantries before Thanksgiving. Drop off sealed, unexpired, nonperishable food at Silver Cannabis Company, 1471 Route 9 in Lake George, on Friday, November 13, from 8 AM to 10 PM. The store will deliver the donations to Tri-County United Way’s Give & Go Curbside Community Food Drive the following day.

Most needed items include pasta, rice, soup, canned vegetables and tuna, peanut butter, cereal, granola bars, fruit cups, applesauce and protein drinks such as Ensure. Pop-top cans are especially welcome.

You can also donate directly at the curbside drive on Saturday, November 14, from 10 AM to noon at Tri-County United Way, 543 Glen Street in Glens Falls. Volunteers will unload your car.
