Women in Business

Vision: Empowering and mentoring women of all ages.

Mission: To inspire personal growth using our combined experiences and expertise to provide the tools to aid and encourage women in our region through networking, educating and mentoring.

This dynamic group of forward-thinking women meet monthly with the goal of improving themselves, the business community and our Lake George Region.

To date, many organizations have benefited from a variety of gifts of time, talent and treasure from the participants of the Women in Business program including: Wiawaka Holiday House, Double H Ranch, North Country Ministries, Open Door Mission, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) at Lake George High School, Women in Need (W.I.N.) and local food banks among others.

The program is held monthly on the first Wednesday (no meeting in July & August) at the Chamber office.

Come early for networking from 8-8:30 a.m.  The program begins at 8:30 a.m. and usually lasts an hour.

All women who are members of the Chamber are welcome to attend!

The Monthly Meetings are typically held the first Wednesday of each month with a break in July and August.

The next meeting will be virtual! It's planned for Wednesday, January 6, 2020, via Zoom.

Tenée Rehm (pronounced: Reem) Casaccio (Pronounced: Cah-Satch-eee-oh) is the President of JMZ Architects and Planners – a 23-person Women-Owned Business Enterprise focused on higher education whose offices are in downtown Glens Falls. A graduate of Bolton Central School and Virginia Tech, Tenée returned to her hometown of Bolton Landing 28 years ago when she joined JMZ. She became president of the firm in 2009. 
Under her leadership, JMZ has expanded their geographic reach well beyond New York state. The firm has now prepared campus master plans, conducted strategic space studies, and designed buildings of various types on over 100 college campuses in 12 states from Maine to Louisiana. The firm has received more than a dozen regional design awards, as well as several Best Places to Work recognitions.
Tenée is active in her local community, having served as the chair of the board for the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce and The Hyde Collection art museum. She currently serves on the boards for Glens Falls National Bank, Arrow Financial Corporation, and Glens Falls Hospital.
