Thurman Maple Days
10 am - 4 pm
Thurman Maple Days is back again this March across three weekends: March 11-12, 18-19 and 25-26!
Enjoy maple demonstrations, tours, and tastings at five maple farms. Shop hand-crafted products and pair your sweet outing with a visit to Nettle Meadow Farm for their award-winning cheese. Shop hand-crafted items at the Artisan Market at Martin’s Lumber.
Participating Maple Farms include:
• Hidden Hollow Maple
• Valley Road Maple
• Toad Hill Maple
• Candy Mountain Maple
• Mud Street Maple
All of them offer different experiences, so you’ll want to visit each location! You’ll see syrup, maple sugar, maple peanuts and candies being made, as well as maple tea and coffee and souvenir clothing items. Wonderful maple treats will tempt your palate, and special activities will fill your day with fun. Sugarhouses will open their doors for touring and tasting, sampling and shopping.
Plus, Martin’s Lumber host the Artisan Market where friends join them in offering indoor activities, demonstrations, and sales. Just down the road, find Nettle Meadow Farm, with tasting of goat and sheep cheeses and, weather permitting, farm tours each hour.
On each Saturday:
- Local crafters will set up at the Thurman Town Hall for the 1st annual Maple Days Craft Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. only, the Postal Service will offer a pictorial postmark to commemorate Thurman Maple Days. Each Saturday you will receive the stamp with that day’s date.
(Be sure to gas up your vehicle before you arrive in as there are no Gas Stations in Thurman.)
