Lake George Winter Carnival 2022 - 1st Weekend
Shepard Park : Canada St, Lake George, NY 12845
Join us for the first weekend of the Lake George Winter Carnival, which continues every weekend in February.
Saturday - Feb. 5th
12:00 PM - Opening Ceremonies - McDonald Pier, Shepard Park
12:30 PM - until gone - Chili Cook-off - Various restaurants compete to see who is #1! You be the judge - vote for your favorite - Cost is $5 - held at Shepard Park Ampitheater.
1:00 PM - Outhouse Races - held on the ice off of Shepard Park.
1:45-3:45 PM - Make your own snow tie-dye t-shirt. A unique experience using Lake George snow! $15 each or 2/$25 - while supplies last. Held at the souvenir tent in Shepard Park.
4:00 PM - Lake George Winter Carnival Parade - Begins at Fort William Henry, travels north on Canada St. and ends at Amherst St.
4:45 PM - S'mores At the Beach! Free for all while they last - Shepard Park.
4:45 - 6:00 PM - Hot Chocolate Bar - Sip some hot chocolate with all of your favorite toppings in a souvenir Lake George Winter Carnival mug - relax by the warm fire on the beach - $5.00
7:00 PM - Fireworks by Santore! Amazing event viewing the fireworks over the frozen lake!
Sunday, Feb. 6th
12:00 PM til gone - Make Your Own Sundae Funday! - Free ice cream with all the toppings - Sponsored by our friends at Stewarts Shops!
12:30 - 2:00 PM - Karaoke Open Mic - All are welcome to play and/or sing! Shepard Park Ampitheater.
2:00 PM - Keg Toss - Test your strength! Do you have what it takes to be this weekends winner? All ages welcome! $50 gift certificate goes to the winner. Sponsored by Lake George Beach Club - Sign up at Shepard Park Souvenir Tent by 1:45 PM.

12:00 PM - Cornhole Games - Sponsored by Blue 32
12:00-3:00 PM - Children's Activities - a variety of arts, crafts & games to occupy the kiddo's! - Shepard Park - Sponsored by the Courtyard by Marriott.
2:00 PM - Dog's Got Talent Contest - for our furry friends! - A crowd favorite - enter your pet & receive prizes for those that get the most APAWS! Hosted by The Dog Cabin.
3:00 PM - The Polar Plunge - Think you can handle a jump into the frigid waters of Lake George? Plunge & registration at Shepard Park Souvenir Tent.
